Victorian adjustable leather piano stool circa 1880

Victorian Adjustable Leather Piano Stool, circa 1880–1890 retaining its wonderfully worn leather upholstery and substantial wooden rise-and-fall mechanism. Beneath the seat is the original large wooden screw mechanism, allowing the seat to rotate and its height to be adjusted. The circular frame is raised on four square tapering legs, united by cross stretchers around the central spindle.
